Grateful for Grandkids
We asked our online community to share the best part(s) about being a grandparent. Here are your answers!
By Samantha Clark
As the scent of pumpkin spice fills the air and a season of nostalgia begins, we explored one of life’s most cherished roles: grandparenthood. We asked our Facebook community to tell us the best part about being a grandparent, and the responses we received were heartwarming to say the least!
“Being retired and hanging out with my grandson is pure joy.”
— Alamo Area Council of Governments retiree
“Being with them and getting their hugs.”
— Denton County retiree
“Hearing them laugh.”
— Medina County retiree
“Seeing them become productive adults.”
— Somervell County retiree
“Looking at life through their eyes.”
— Williamson County retiree
Your responses remind us to be grateful for all of the meaningful relationships in our lives. May your holiday season be filled with warmth and love!
